Clunking/bumping from front end

2002 C32

I have some kind of clunking and bumping coming from the front-end. I had this about 4k miles ago (~40k total on car) and they replaced the sway bar links I think, or sway bar bushings - something to that effect. Well now that I'm very anti-dealer, I'm wondering if anyone has a check list of things I can check up there. It feels junky and loose when I drive it. Not big CLUNKs, but just like slight clunks - maybe feels like when the ABS is kicked in.

Any guidance appreciated - thanks!

these things break like clock work. Whoever came up with the idea of a liquid filled lower control arm bushing should be take out back and roughed up a bit! They make for terrible turn in, a squishy front end, and besides that they tend to wear and fracture and that leaves the car feeling all wiggly and sloppy.

I bet you need some new lower control arms but I hope you have a warranty as each arm is like 800 bucks or a bushing kit is like 200 plus the labor for the guy to press them in.

You can go with K-Mac parts also and this gives you additional camber and toe settings. But before you go for those realize that they are poly and make the ride very firm. They stiffen up the front end and make the steering far more direct but they also make it such that you feel everything on the road.

Good luck

Is this the same as a thrust bushing? - these were replaced just a couple thousand miles ago.
