How many have had problems with buttons on AC?

How many have had problems with buttons on AC?
I hear alot about this but dont have a real good idea of how many people actually experience this problem. I should also post this on the C forum since the C320 uses the system as well. Im just tryin to get a general understanding of percentage of failure.

My +/- fan buttons, arrgh
I hate the fan +/- buttons, way too slow.
Crappy design, but i suppose they are not defective.
"Off"- Sometimes it takes 10 pushes to turn the A/C off completely.
Seems to work better if you are "patient" with the slow-minded button.
"On" is easy, hit "Auto" (not as much need for the +)
I know an rotary dial wouldn't look as "cool" and digital, but wouldn't it be more effective?
