Q about an offer to sell me wheels for C32
Well I'm just getting back from picking up my car. Seat work properly and the S/C seems to kick in whenever I ask for it,... but I've only driven it for about 30 minutes from the dealer to home. I guess I'll have to wait to see if I have enough battery to crank it over in the morning.
As I was leaving, a couple who was looking at a new E-Class asked if I was interested in buying a set of Wheels/Tires that he had on his trade in. Didn't get into what he was trading for the E he was buying (not a C though). He said they were OEM wheels and wrote down the part #'s (B6-603-1092 and B6-603-1093). Initially I thought it was strange that he was walking around with a part # committed to memory, but then I realized he had pulled the receipt from the MB pouch belonging to the car he was trading.
My question is if anyone can recognize this part # and is it a popular wheel enhancement for the C32? Basically,... will it fit. The only description I can give is that they are authentic MB 19" AMG wheels, similar in design to what I already have, and decorated with screws around the rims. He's selling the wheels WITH tires, but says they are in need of replacing. I asked how much, he responded with,... "make me an offer"! I wasn't able to see them because he was switched back to the stock wheels in anticipation of trading for their new E-Class.
If anyone can recognize these part #'s, I'd appreciate any feedback, as well as any advice as to a reasonable offer, or even a link where I can at least see a pic of what they look like. And most of all,... WILL THEY FIT MY C23!
Thanks!

Thanks! Could you please explain why? While I was going thru the C32 picture thread, I noticed a lot of the members here had 19" wheels on their C32's. Do bolt patterns differ thru the Class lines?

some ppl that have these type of wheels, they are not the real AMG wheels they are knock off. like TSW's are very common and a nice Knock off of the AMG wheel.

they u spacers and other things, to make the wheel fit, the off set for the SL wheels is way to big to fit on C-Class. the only wheels that will work on our car are off the SLK 's, CLK's. the wheels of those cars will fit our cars. but the rest of the cars in the MB line up will not fit our car because the off-set will be way off.

just on that multi-piece you are out of luck as the offset is way too aggressive.

Thanks guys,... I think I've already accepted the grim fact that buying these wheels would be a waste of money. I might just giv'em a call and take a look-see anyway. Man,... if they're the wheels Frank put up in his pic they're nice! Meanwhile, I'll keep dreaming! LOL!
