Aftermarket Navigation-System suggestions
My C32 did not come with COMAND and it seems there are better options on the market than the stock COMAND which requires DVD etc etc. I am looking into a Kenwood system which also has an ability to have integrated bluetooth and also a rear camera.
To have this system installed I need to change the wires as they are fiber optic. I have a few questions to those who have attempted such changeovers.
Are the wires from the AMP to the speakers also fiber optic?
Are the speakers 2 ohms or 4 ohms ? I was told that there is increase heat with the 2 ohms speaker with the new system, does that really matter?
Is the crossover in the amp ?
If you guys have suggestions for other aftermarket systems, please advise.
Thanks

The speakers are 2ohm. If you're going to keep them, get an amp that can handle a 2ohm impedance
There is no external cross over on the speakers
That new Kenwood system looks pretty nice
