I have an '06 C55 and checked this weekend...my car is "pre-wired" but the hardware (i.e. what comes in the Core Kit and the Completer Kit) is not there.

Because the contact plate is not present (as in my case) does not mean that the car is not pre-wired; the wiring harness is there.

I did two checks...the first is removing the false floor in the center armrest - the female power supply and female FAKRA are present. The second is removing the right-side trunk panel - the "Tel1" (and other) fibre optic cables are present.

I may be missing something here, but it sounds like the MB system relies on a cradle for connecting your phone, and the only cradles in the parts list are for Motorola V330/V551/V557/, E815, and Nokia 6230 - all five year old POS phones. Is there any way to make this work with current phones?

Not true. The cradle is used to make a hardwire connection to the car's hardware. Alternatively, you can make a bluetooth connection to the car's hardware using a Bluetooth Interface Module (e.g. B67876131) which plugs into the same contact plate as the cradles you mentioned

Are these parts compatible with C-Calss W203? Are these all to install for pre-wired 2005 MOST?

Yes all the cars use the same MHI control module 2005+ the only difference in between the kits are the contact plates where you connect the phone which is all the same across W203's
