Damn heavy disc of SL55AMG
Dealer here is promoting the brake kits of SL55AMG
F : 8 piston + 360 mm disc R : 4 piston + 320 mm disc
look insight of its weight, guess what ?
20+ kg a disc/360 mm !!!!!! (44 more pounds)
Let's check the disc weight of C32
Factory 345 mm disc,OEM by Brembo : 11.8 kg (26 pounds)
**You should know the weight add on the wheel......
If you're looking for the brake kits from V8 Kompressor
This one is too heavy to kill your C32 performance, my $.02
my ultralight 360 mm disc weights only 7.7 kg (17 pounds)
God bless the SL55 to race with me on a stop.....

Yes, enthusiasts are always thinking about power upgrade
if we can cut the weight on wheels and benefit the brake upgrade
It's safer & agile on the move.
360 mm is the upper clearance for 18' rims, w/8 piston caliper
it's an upgrade from stock 17' setup.
Mine is for demo,it's said $3100 front kits only, the manager
want a powerful car to burn-in the performance.
The brake kits of SL55, F+R cost $4265, w/o labor & tax here.
I won't recommend it, as it's too heavy for C32.(w/rim18'+)
But the 500 hp SL55 or E55 can afford this weight.
