C55 Transmission Question
Hey, I was wondering if the C32 and C55 have the same transmission.
Did the C32 have the same tranny as the other "55" models?

I believe they are different, the C55 also has the Manual Button they have 3 modes M/C/S (Manual/Comfort/Sport), where the C32 only have 2 modes C/S (comfort/Sport) or S/W(summer/Winter).

the software and gearing may be a little different (i'm not sure) but they are both the same 5 speed automatic transmission. The C55 did not get the 7G.

Transmission C32 and C55; Porsche S4?
Can't comment on that - but I found it very interesting, when I looked at a Porsche transmission shop drawing (S4) around the time I ordered the C32 2002 which looked just like mine - it was "opened up" at the front end to bring the power to the Porsche FRONT WHEELS (4Matic?)... check it out.
