Need Help Fast!! Ext. Warranty Info
I just recently purchased a 03 c32. Its got 29k miles 
and doesnt have warranty, does anyone know where I can purchase extended warranty? i went through threads and it seems like no one is trying to warranty amgs; esp c32s. I am from san francisco bay area btw. Help is deeply appreciated.

your best bet would be to get Mercedes themselves to warrenty it. Over here in the UK you can pay for an hours 'workshop' check - they check the health of your car - then pay the £700 to get Mercedes Tier 1 (or Tier 2 if over 60K miles) for a year.
Maybe MB in the US does that as well? Ask your local dealer. Other than that in the UK we have warrenty Direct - half the price of Merc! but not as easy to claim

well the extended warranty on use benz is not available from mercedes-benz any more, (or not in canada any-ways) it most likely is the same story with USA. only the original owner of the car i aloud to buy the extended warranty on the car now. if u buy a used car from the benz dealer at the time of purchase u can get them to add the extended warranty, but if u didn't buy the car from the benz dealer or bought it from the dealer with out the extended warranty then u will have to get an outside source insurance company to warranty your car. Benz will not offer u extended warranty on any used benz not purchased from them. all used cars purchased from benz dealer must buy extended warranty at the time of purchase.
sorry to say if u cant find a outsource company to warranty ur car. Ur SH** out of luck.

Good luck partner. I just went through the whole ordeal looking to extend my warranty as mine is up in a month (CPO).
Our wonderful state of Cali requires auto warranties to be purchased through dealers (California Department of Insurance). I called Mercury and they will not do it. Other auto brokers try to get around it by asking if you have an out of state address to use - not my cup of tea. You will be able to find a warranty company off the internet that will gladly take your 3K but guess what's going to happen once you put in a claim for say 5K? Denied and they'll give you a pro-rated amount back and you lose. You have no recource either.
MB will not touch the car with a warranty - says alot about their confidence in their own car don't it? The one dealer in Riverside was open to providing me a 3 year warranty and guess the cost? Not 3K, not 5K, not 10K! 12K! F*&K them.
I'm just gonna roll the dice and ride it. You'll have to ask around and see if there are any good local tuners and mechanics that could assist if you have a major problem - I won't be going back to the dealer once it out of warranty for much of anything.......luckily I have a little motor now how from playing with 400 CID V-8's in my high school and college days.....

Oh yeah. I'm still hunting for that 70 TA. I'll send you pictures when I land that jewel.....you can come over and help me find the intercooler and IC pump on it because I have not idea where it would be at on that one!
