It seems that simply replacing the stock unit with an upgraded unit is all this car needs, stock or modified.
No. I do not have any IAT data. Part of the issue was my pump being out for not grabbing pre install IAT data. No real excuse for not having pulled the data post install.

I have added another heat source infront of the radiator this was offset by installing PTE's -10c thermostat and the -10c fan mod.

I am not too worried about the additional points of failure (added heat exchanger and two added hoses). High quality parts were used for the install.

Its not the parts you added, its the parts that were left behind...Like I said, its a nice looking job. If it works, thats whats important

The other challenge is that the SLK does not have the same room up front as the C32's so have to go with another option.

Ah, I didn't notice you had an SLK. Well that definitely makes more sense then.

The unit got two-day shipped to me, instead of overnight, so it should be here today...Of course I am counting on USPS to come through for me I am eagerly awaiting its arrival so we can get this ball finally rolling

I hate to say it, but I am currently at the mercy of the USPS...The package was supposedly in town, yet it still did not get delivered. I will be heading over to the post in the morning to see where the heck it is. Sorry for the delay guys. Everything will happen quickly though once I receive it

UPDATE:

Well the USPS finally came through for me. The package was mis marked as priority instead of overnight... Anyway, I received it yesterday and began finalizing the brackets (amongst finishing another project to be released at the same time, yay). I wanted to post a few teaser pictures. What you see is the new version of the HE. No trimming, hoses line up perfectly, and it bolts right to the bumper. Its as easy as swapping out the old one for the new one. I cant wait to put this one to the test. I believe it is going to be awesome. I just wanted to get some new information out so you don't think this is another project that gets left behind I promise everything will be finalized within days. We are very close. The fabricator is ready to start pumping these out On to the pictures! First one is a closeup of the alignment of the hoses. The second one is the unit bolted in place by the brackets, and how it looks on the front of the car.

Here is a quick picture with the bumper on. Now it definitely looks like we have something hiding under the bumper I went back to the drawing board for the brackets this morning, as I was not happy with the previous design. I just finished up the new design, and it came out awesome Lets just say there will be some adjustability in case there are variances between bumper to bumper. Enjoy the picture. I promise, it will be ready to go shortly. I just want all my ducks in a row, and everything perfect. I hope you all understand.

Great news! I'm curious if you or anyone else on this forum knows the similarities/differences between the SLK and C class front end? I would like to eventually get one of these but I am concerned with the fitment.
