It's probably the 2 vacuum lines for each of the headlights for the adjustment.
If you've had xenon lights retro fitted then they will no longer be required.

Ah that makes sense, both of the Xenon headlight units were replaced last March. So I guess the new unit doesn't require the vacuum lines any longer? What replaced the vacuum lines?

The xenon are electrically and automaticly adjusted. If you don't have a complete retrofit kit (rear axle level sensors) then they have no adjustment.
