You mean Kmac? I've toyed with getting them. Visually, my car seems to have a bigger camber problem (negative) in the rear after lowering it. You'll have to report on how the Kmacs affect the tire wear.

I will be runiing ALL next year, including Nelson Ledges, Mid Ohio, and maybe Watkins Glen. I will give a advance warning on these dates.
I wasn't aweare of a camber issue with our toys, I guess I will find out on Monday the hard way. I've been racing for many years now, and will post photos/info on my findings about our toys.
Heck, I get the feeling that I will be buying ALOT of new parts on Tuesday

As you guys know, once you get the bug, its ALL OVER with your pocket book.
Take care, and hope to see you guys at the track next time around
See yeah
IMO in order of importance -
Hi temp Brake fluid- recommend motul rbf 600.
pads- i like r4 and raybestos 431 (if i remember correctly) rotors will last 8 events then you have to change d/t cracking.
DOT r compounds on 8.5' wheel all round. or run 235/45 front with 255/40 rear on stock rims.
bigger heat exchanger (like brandon is doing) and johnson pump.
front camber- kmac
front sway.
curious to see what happens to mr amg's bridgestones...are these r01s or 050?
fifth i commented a bit on the kmacs on my "blog"

OKAY, Beaverun was a TON of fun

I was the fastest car on street tires at the track. Only ran 1:10, no track record BY FAR, but a TON of fun.
My Mustang ran 1:06's with R tires
AT NO TIME did the blower shot off, and this was on a 92 degree with 80 some percent hunididty. There are TWO long straigt aways, with a short shoot betweeen 4-5, and a nice up hill to 6and 7. My speeds were 122 on the back straightaway, and 118 on the front. I really am amazed that I did not suffer from quote "Heat soak" I guess my stock pump was working GREAT.
Brakes were okay the first sesion, even though you go from 120's down to around 45 into 10 and 1. On the second sesion, trying to follow some vettes with R tires, I did mush the brake pedal about 18 minutes into the sesion, my fault driving too hard. The last two sesion, I calmed down a little and NO brake fade

The only tricky part was coming out of 7, this is down hill and off camber. If I floored it, the back end wanted to come around due to the blower engaing, NOT A VERY FUN condition, so I learned to gradulay roll into it. This also helped my straight away speeds as I entered 8 ALOT faster by doing this.
The bridgestone PP 050's held up amazingly and the car felt VERY neutral. I would HIGHLY recomend these tires to anyone doing track events!!!
Ran 38 psi front, 30 psi rear for best balance
My G-tech said my peak G was 0.97, and I averaged 0.94-0.95 around turn 5 and 10.
The front drivers side took a pounding, due to mainly right hand turns,as was expected. I was in the group 3A for experts with prepared cars, as I have numerous events under my belt. Passed 2 or 3 R tired cars, but did have my *** handed to me by a few vettes, and 1 BMW M, could take hime on the straights, but with sticky tires he was alot faster through the curves. Note he was a trailored car.
ALL in all, the car held up tremdously!! No heat soak, good braking, and very neutral.
Now that I know I take on more power, HERE COMES THE PULLIES

Great day for the AMG badge, with MANY people coming to take a look at her, wondering how a 4 door could handle so well
See yeah

PS: I reset my trip computer and averaged 7.8 miles to the gallon using Amoco 93 with one can of octane booster. No rattle at all!
Thanks AWDman, Fifthring and 1Fast amg for all your input/help
Oh yeah, were can I get Caster/Camber plates for our car?
