There are a several comprehensive discussions on this topic that you can dig up using a search - there may be some definitive diagnostic procedures that are mentioned in those discussions (e.g. maybe it's something simple like a wire harness disconnected).
But...... it's a problem many of us have had. If neither your light or heated seats come on, it's probably toast. The elements seem to fail quite often in the C32. If you're out of warranty, you may be S.O.L. I recently had mine replaced under warranty (just before it ran out!) and according to the SA, it would have cost about $800 per seat.

Ditto. Had both my seat covers replaced under warranty for non-operative seat heaters. My car has always been a CA car and probably never used, or used very little, and they were both bad. Only reason I found out was this forum - thanks guys. I checked them before my warranty expired to make sure they worked since there are notable issues with them.

Would have cost 1500 out of warranty. At that, I would have passed on the repair being that I never use them. My understanding is the heating coils are in the seat cover and becasue of the constant movement they tend to crack over time.

I think in 10 years you will be lucky to find a C32 with functioning seat heaters. Kind of reminds me of the early Trans Am's out there -- not a single one of them has a functioning dash board clock.
