Possible Piggyback option? AEM FIC
do you think it will work on our cars (c32)? discuss why or why not
im going to consult Jason S on whether he thinks it will work when i get a chance to swing by the shop again

Piggybacks usually cause unwanted driveability issues.
mean while a custom tailored tune for a specific car will pick up significantly more power (and we can do crazier **** like add fuel for nitrous, or get a monsterous LET pulley and retard timing/adjust fuel up higher)... btw, the AEM FIC has a 25psi map sensor, which is a nice added feature if your running higher boost
and its usually standalones that cause driveabiliy issues... piggybacks retain stock functions so they usually are the most "stock like" tunes
im trying to reason this out and see if its even possible to get one to work on a benz... there is currently a crossfire SRT undergoing an install... and if that pull thru imma try it on the c32
I would install a stand alone EMS if someone else would do it first.

A full EMS would allow us to raise the MAP sensors max boost to something higher than 22 PSI. It would also open new doors in terms of tuning.
However, I had my turn at being the guinea pig and I'm not willing to try it....just yet.
If the EMS has the ability to run different programs, then there shouldn't be any driveability issues.
CNC - If you decide to do it, please let me know. I would love to help out. I have been working on a wiring map for our car under the radar.
Also keep in mind the stock ECU has maps for all sorts of conditions including cold starts, extremely hott conditions, etc. These are things an aftermarket ECU simply will not have.
On a fairly stock car, or even modified car, the stock Bosch/Siemens ECU's will do just fine.

Let me know if you have any further questions.
Sincerely,
Aaron
