FINALLY got my rims on!!!!
1.) What's the need for a spacer? Is it to clear the room so that the rims won't touch the caliper and suspension arm?
2.) I rememberd seeing one of you mentioned that 8.5F/9.5R is the biggest allowable size w/o fender roll. Now, do I need spacers in if I were to opt for a set of 18'' and with the 8.5/9.5 configration?
3.) So, I am thinking about getting a set of AMG SL55's rim (shown below), and the specs are 18x8.5 front and back. Will they work on C32? Does it make a big diff (visually) if the front and back are of the same 8.5 width?
Thank you very much for any inputs.

Those SL55 wheels 'may' use 14mm wheel lug bolts and the W203 uses 12mm lug bolts. The offset may be high and need a spacer. That wheel may be very difficult to mount on a W203.
Usually a spacer is needed if the offset is too high and the wheel is designed for another application. I think some companies make one high offset say 45mm to fit a W220 S-Class however using a 10mm spacer brings the offset down to 35mm and other applications like a E-Class or C-Class may use the same rim.
Ehhh JamE55, what does that Bling Bling man suppose to mean?
