1/8th mile drag results
The one respectable run I had was against a Porsche 911 6-speed. He got me out of the gate, but it turned out that he was red flagged for jumping the start. Had we gone at the same time, I would have had him the entire way. I started pulling on him after 60 ft and probably would have passed him at the 1/4 mile mark if there was one.
For this run I brake torqued to 1000 rpm and put the car into "1". Here are my numbers...
Reaction: .688
60 ft: 2.240
MPH: 83.02
ET: 8.812
Kind of pathetic. I was having traction problems as well as driving issues. I tried power braking too high on my other three runs, but it ended up hurting me a lot more than it helped. I think I could get this time down to 8.6 next time.
Temp was 64 degrees, 5/8th full tank (didn't plan ahead), had Michelin Pilots at 30 psi, and a case of bad driving.

I'm more confident about next time, considering I only had one run essentially. On Roozy's timeslip when he did a 13.2, his 1/8 time was just under 8.6. That is doable. On the other hand, other there they have better gas and a lower elevation, so his top end hp was probably a little higher.
Next time I will simply floor it or minimize my brake torquing.
Below is a pic of my car(bordeau) vs. Klemann CLK55. I a second slower to his 12.7 @ 110 MPH but had him to half track, where he passed me like a freight train. :P
