Rear main seal leaking?
I did a search on this but couldn't find anything. I was changing the oil and noticed oil in and around the outside of the bell housing.
I removed the 2 small black plastic covers and stuck my finger inside the housing and noticed more oil.
It's definitely NOT transmission fluid.
Do you think it's the rear main seal, or could it be coming from the valve cover gaskets up top? If it's from the valve covers, could it make its way inside the bell housing? Thanks.
