Stock '03 C32 - Uneven tire wear - normal?

I searched, but couldn't find much for stock (not lowered) C32's.

I recently had to get a new set of tires due to the inside of the rear tires wearing much more aggressively then the rest of the tire. I was still above the tread wear indicators, but was already down to the bone on the inside.

The tire shop recommended an alignment, but I wanted to check here to see if that tread wear pattern was normal or not for a C32. I got about 25K miles out of the tires (Bridgestone R050), so while not great, it's not horrible.

Any information on your experiences would be much appreciated.

If you are in fact at stock ride height then the rears should wear pretty evenly. 25000 on the rears is a lot of miles. typically they will be gone in 12-15k miles.
There is no alignment you can do to the rear without replacing the arms or bushings with aftermarket.

Au contrare'. That IS great ...for a C32/C55. If you got 25K out of your rear tires, forget about uneven wear, just be thankful you got twice the miles most people here get from their tires.

I have not looked at the rear set up closely on mine but I know with my BMW 540 the back tires were cambered. This mean when I looked at the back tires on my car from the rear you could see they angled out. This means the inside of the rear tires wear quicker. This is for better handling. I am not sure if our C32 are cambered in like the 540 was?

If you got 25K out of your tires you are not enjoying the full potential of the car Just kidding but 25K and you still had tread you should be very very happy.
