Cars back, engine sound
ok, so i got my sisters 07 c230 back from the shop...and there is a grinding, choppy sound coming from the engine. it is not really loud, but is noticeable. it kinda sounds like a diesel but not as frequent and loud. the intakes were replaced OEM and whatnot, but im not sure what the noise is coming from. im assuming that its coming from the fan or something. any insight would be greatly appreciated! thanks fellas.
oh, and im going to take it back to the shop asap when i find out what it is.

yeah i know its the wrong section, its not my car, its my sisters and i have a c55. i was just posting here because im normally on this section and have found it to be very beneficial...

Hey neihouma,
The car went in the shop due to a car accident, so I don't think they changed the oil. The sound can only be heard outside, it drives fine, but I'm planning to take it to the dealership tomorrow under warranty.
