New CD Head Unit
Hello chaps,
Quick question - will this cd head unit fit and work in my '02 C32 - I just have the standard tape one with a 6 disk multiplayer in the glove compartment at the moment.
Part number is A 203 870 50 89 I believe... and I think it's a double Din one...

I would also like to know. I too have the stock head unit and would like to replace it with one that can be modded with an AUX port or some other type of iPod interface.

Replacing the head unit would require replacement of the speakers as well. The Bose system uses a very low ohm rating for powering the speakers, basically, a very low powered speaker is used with Bose's system. Changing the head unit to one that used a higher power rating, would damage the speakers, if the signal even worked past the factory Bose amp. A decent system, minus Sub woofer, should cost around 2K
