My plates expired over the winter- but I didn't renew the sticker since the car wasn't being driven. Spring is coming and my car is just about finished up. I am going to get personal plates. In Illinois can have a max of 7 charactors, has to start with a letter, and end with a number.

Which one should I go with out of the choices below:

ON_XIXS_2 (Roman numeral- "On 19's")
SHIFTN_6 (the car is a 6spd)
SITN_LO_2 (self explanitory- kinda child'ish/ricer'ish though)
FDLITY_1 (Fidelity- I compete in local sound quality competitions)
PHANTM_1 (For some reason I like the word/definition of "Phantom")


I already tried to get "BALL1N"- but someone already had it
(read the regular W203 forum, you will get it....)

Its a Benz so the classiest plate would have to be FDLITY from your selections...but personally I wouldn't use none of them sorry

those seem pretty lame. i'd consider a custom plate if it says something UNIQUE to THE CAR it's on.

No offense buddy, but they're all a bit childish. MB owners already suffer the stigma of envy and scoffing by the general public, so why would you want to entice others to give more grief?
It's just my opinion ------ but being humble in our outward image goes a long way towards thwarting others' envy. Remember, "vanity" is synonymous with "vain"...

But, if you're dead set on getting a vanity plate, I have to agree the "FDLITY_1" version makes the most sense, per it being affiliated with your hobby.
