Hi there,

I had my secondary air pump pack in on me a few months ago.

Not sure what part numbers are, but i could not believe the cost to fix it.
Ok i am in South Africa and the bill was nearly R10000.00 which is around $1300.00 but i got no idea how much it will be in your country, all i know is we get properly raped here at our stealerships.

good luck

I believe Mercedes had a recall out for this and, because of this, it may not cost you anything.......

There was a service campaign for this issue some time ago with most C32 AMGs. (service campaign 2006-030011). It has to do with the relay that controls the secondary air pump. So, if you are still on warranty, I'd try that route. If not, it should be covered under the 8yr/80K emissions warranty - according to some members here, MB may or may not honor that warranty. In any case, find out if you had the service campaign done on your car.
There are a bunch of threads on the C32 forum regarding this topic.
Here's one of the threads.
