CL style grill for my C32 -- black or silver?
Wanted to ask my forum brethren their thoughts on this one as I'm torn between the black grill and silver grill to give my C32 a facelift. What do you guys sport on your C32 and what do you think looks better on a silver C32?

Well it depends but imo black will change the look more then silver on silver...I have a black grill with 6" MB star and its sooo noticable compared to the original chrome one it had...

And if you put 19" wheels with a wide open spoke setup, you'll be looking at bigger brake setups real soon!

All right. We have an up close and personal shot of the Black/chrome grill, can someone who has the silver version post a front end shot as well. Thanks Fifth for the pic!

All done. I went with the silver grill and purchased it off ebay from the seller referenced in another thread here. I must say I am very happy with the facelift!![naughty](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/naughty.gif)

Bro, go with the C55 Tech either way you go -- black or silver. I got my grill from them and happy with it - it bolts right up in 5 minutes.
The three fin just doesn't fit correctly. If you look at the bottom of the grill between the grill and bumper it leaves an uneven gap from the center outward. The C55 Tech unit is flush across.
Personally, once I put the silver grill in I fell in love with the look. Black is better on a black or white C but the silver on silver looks great live and in person.

As an aside, at lunch today I saw your twin silver C32 in traffic and two Lexus IS-Fs with distributor plates at a restaurant. I also talked to a guy a week or so ago with your dream ride: a 71 TA 455 HO he's owned sine he was 16!

See, your Big Bro knows best....Silver looks great on silver!!!
The nose looks more aggressive and sporty. I agree that the 4 bar fits the look of the car better than the 3 bar.

I don't think there's any real difference between 70 and 71 and trust me, you'd want this one!
74-76s aren't as clean looking or desireable as the early 2nd gens. Early victims of the EPA and emissions...

I guess if you consider the RAM Air III and IV heads no big deal -- and a bunch of HP because of them. To a Trans Am guy it's like saying no difference between the 64 and 65 (gto that is). So your selling the goat and going to a C63 right? That C is going to be hooootttttt.....![drive](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/driving.gif)

There really is very little difference between the 64-65 GTO under the covers with 65 getting a 360 HP tripower over the 64's 348 hp tripower option. Cosmetically there were many changes. The nose, tail, hood, interior panels, seats... The 70 to 73 Firebirds are cosmetically almost identical.
I like the CLS but not the price! No C for me...
