probably should 'spam' the AMG sections before moving it. who knows maybe we can get a decent turnout.

I think if we set up the meet a month a head of time, we will be able to have a good turn out. Now all we have to do is settle on a date. I think a friday or saturday would be a good day in april. I'm assuming if we do it those days, that most of us would prefer an evening event. So now all we need to do is decide what date. I would like to see both sunilp's and 1fastc32's projects there, so if you could give us an eta on when your projects will be close to finished or even drivable, we could go from there. No pressure on getting the cars done any sooner, I just think the amg/mercedes/srt6 community would like to see your hard work in person.

If the meet will be at Sunil's shop, then I will fly in and attend with Erick (1fastc32).

Need some notice though!

I think it's time to get serious about this meet. Please post which options you prefer for the meet.

Day:
Friday, Saturday, or Sunday?

Time:
6:00pm, 7:00pm, 8:00 pm, 9:00 pm, or 10:00 pm
I would like to keep sunil's shop in consideration for the time. I would not like to make things inconvenient for him.

Place:
Sunil volunteered his place, but nothing is definite yet. I may have to start emailing people in order to make sure every thing is going to be set.

If any one has any other suggestion about the place, please post them.

Date:
This is going to be the trickiest part about putting this together. I would like to have enough notice so that every one can make room in their schedule. I would also like to have both of the project cars there too, but I understand that there's a lot of work that still needs to be done and projects like those can not be rushed. I'm just going to throw out some dates and let me know what yall think?

Friday March 28
Saturday March 29
Sunday March 30

Friday April 4
Saturday April 5
Sunday April 6

Friday April 11
Saturday April 12
Sunday April 13

We can have an earlier meet if we get enough people or we can push it back further if that's what people prefer. I'd like to get some insight as to what every one would like to have and then we can go from there.

i'm open to all those dates as well. I spoke with Erick (1fastc32) and he will be there as well. As for either one of our cars being ready, that may not happen. You can see the work in progress in case I can't finish it.

I'm fine with doing it in may. I'm thinking either may 2nd or may 9th. I know it's a long time away, but we will get to see two of the most intriguing C classes to date.

What we could do is have a smaller low key meet some time in april and then have another, hopefully a bigger one in may to show case both projects. I'm thinking that the turn out may be larger if we manage to have both prohects completed and there.

The second one will be the one we will advertise the most. While the first one will be the meet that we can all get to meet and greet each other.

What does every one think? I think this will work much better for every.

Houston Meet is a go
Well, I've been a tad busy recently, but I've had some free time to think about the meeting recently. I spoke to Sunil about having him host the meet and we have the go ahead.

So the meet is going to be Friday, May 9th at Sunil's shop. I will set up directions and if we want to have some food and beverages we can all chip in $5.

This is the official list for Friday, May 9th. Please only put your name on the list if you will attend the meet. This meet will be open to all of the mercedes community along with the srt6 group as well. So I'll start it off.

Well dang! I was hoping it would be a Saturday gathering. I play in a softball league on Friday nights, so unfortunately I'll have to wait and meet everyone at a future event. If softball gets rained out I'll show up, but that'd not be good for a car club gathering...
Thanks for putting it together anyway.
