Question questions about tire size

Hey guys,
I am wondering what is the max. width of tire size on c32 stock wheels? I called tirerack and they told me that by changing the width will mess up the computer? is it true?
thanks

Hey Ning,

You can go up to 265 and 19 inch if the offset is correct, but you have to understand that changing the width of the tires will change the way sensor work for your ESP system. The sensor that detect slip angle are design to stock tires size. You will have to reprograme your ESP to ensure the system is working properly.

Changing the width of your tires will also decrease handling charcterisitc. wider tires will provide more grip but less 'road feel' and in turn a worse handling.

If you want to change your size for aesthetic reason, then that will be a totally different story Hope this help
