VALENTINE 1 question. E message?
I've had my V1 for more then 2 maybe even 3 years now. anyway, it sits on top of the rear-view mirror (in my '04 C32) and is hardwired (where to im not sure)
anyway recently when i turn the device on (or the car for that matter) it reads "E" and under that it has a few led lights that stay on (ill try to post a pic soon)... somedays more other days less... any ideas?
i went to v1.com and they said something about a fuse. but its not soft-wired so how can that be?
ANY KNOWLEDGE WOULD BE MOST APPRECIATED, THANKS

E on display
When the V1 is turned on it goes through a self-test / tuning mode. Anytime the V1's self-calibration routine is unhappy with how it tuned itself, it displays an "E" on the display
It could be a sign of drifting/component failure, but the 3.851's had some bugs with the E feature that caused it to be thrown erroneously.
