can someone help me organize my thoughts on tuning over?

ive been reading the sticky on all the different parts but all the information is so scattered that i havent been able to keep my train of thought long enough to get it all down. ideally, id like to track down just about every bolt on by the end of the summer and top it off with a custom tune but the upgrades themselves arent as spelled out as with my previous car.
right now i have:
-crank pulley.
-supercharger pulley
-heat exchanger
-IC pump
-aquamist meth kit(i own this from my previous car but never had an opportunity to install it)
-intake
-straight pipe to replace the cats
-exhaust
are the benefits of an exhaust on a c32 really as profound as they are on turbocharged cars? i cant imagine it being that substantial of a change. anything i missed please feel free to enlighten me.

You got most of 'em...

larger crank pulley - most people's first mod; proven, been around for years. Lots of options (Renntech, evosport, LET Motorsports, ASP, etc.)

smaller S/C pulley (does same thing as crank pulley, i.e. spins S/C faster thereby creating more boost than stock) - brand new approach for raising boost on C32. Sounds promising but relatively unproven. May or may not work IN ADDITION to larger crank pulley (i.e. might cause too much belt-slip to be feasible - this could be being tested now). One vendor currently offers this - Code3Performance.

HE - definite must... Code3 and LET parts have been dyno tested and basically prove to be equal performance-wise.

IC pump - good idea, while replacing HE anyway

water/meth - not typically pursued, but I can see how this would be beneficial. Will love to see your results post-install

Intake - SL55 splitter is common, full SL55 intake is better but less common. Code3 modified intake (screen plate + foam filter) is another option; again, brand-new approach.

Replace cats - people seem to replace the secondaries a lot, but usually leave the primaries I believe.

Exhaust - don't bother, unless you're looking for an aesthetic upgrade like a true-dual set-up with quad tips. Otherwise, if you'd like a little more sound, just replace the resonator with straight SS pipe.

One you missed - headers. Definitely a weak link in the C32 exhaust - especially if you're modifying for increased boost. Popular options include LET, evosport, and Supersprint.

Good luck with your mod search

No, an engine pull isn't necessary w/ C32... not sure where you heard that. That said, it is (allegedly) a pain to replace the headers - most shops quote 5-6 hours' worth of labor to install bolt-on shorty headers, IIRC.

So, on the low end, you're looking at approx. $1k for headers and $500 for shop labor. on the high end, I believe it's more like $2500 for headers and potentially $1000 for labor... just depends on which ones you go with, and how expensive your shop is.
