Rear Caliper Idea
I have been considering painting my rear calipers to match my fronts since I bought my car but the idea of grinding off all of the stampings has caused me to put the project off.
I was washing my car today when I thought of a possible alternative to all of the grinding and polishing to make them look good. What if we could get a high-temp adhesive circle that fit perfectly over the stock caliper center? It could be the same color as the fronts with //AMG nicely printed on it. That way with a little paint, the rears could look equally as nice as the fronts.
Any thoughts on this? My main concern is the heat. According to my sheets here the highest temp adhesive withstands 396' F constant. Would that cut it?
