2003 C32 AMG

Supercharger Clutch

I am trying to install my supercharger pulley but I cant get the dam clutch to stop moving. Even with the rubber pad it just keeps spinning any ideas?

Some auto parts stores sell a universal oil filter wrench that has an adjustable rubber belt type grip for the filter (not sure if they all do but the one I remember has a blue plastic handle). We used something similar at the shop, and I imagine that that they should adjust to a large enough size for the pulley. This will hold it in place with one hand while you break the bolt loose with the other.

i used an impact wrench to get mine off... without any issues... if you have a masonry drill... that has a hammer feature on it... kind of the same thing. but GL
