Serpentine Belt came off - guide/idler pulley + part #?
Hey Guys,
Serpentine Belt came off on the way home today. The belt looks OK, but the Guide belt, seen here, http://i265.photobucket.com/albums/i...appearance.jpg
#4 Came loose.. its wobbling. The nut was real loose, so we tightened it. Is this supposed to spin freely? Can anyone give more info on it while I'm outside trying to get the belt back on?

Having a hell of a time finding a part number for this... EPC NET isn't very helpful. There are two different guide pulleys, I need to make sure I have the right one...Anyone?!?
I believe the part number is 1202000470 however it comes up as an SLK32 AMG everywhere... confirmation?
Called the dealership they quoted $90 for 1122020119. I'm not sure we're talking about the same part - he kept calling it the tensioner pulley.
I'm finding a pulley for the SLK32 AMG online for $10, same engine.. same part? anyone?!?!

Ordered the part through the stealership. Part number:
112-202-01-19 (1122020119) which is called a "tightener"
Price shipped to dealer, then to my home was $92.02 from Keeler Motor Car Co in Latham NY.
Took about 2 hours because I had no idea what I was doing. Now that I know, I'd say a 10-15 minute job.
You will need a torx socket set (had to take a trip to sears) I metric socket does work on it, but I didn't trust it. You will also have to loosen the aluminum pipe in front of the bolt so it can be removed (2 screws up and below)
We were able to put the belt back on by aligning the belt along the track, except leaving #8 in pic below off-

Then while one person went couter clockwise on the tensioner, the other lifted the belt and put over #8. We had to readjust a few so they were correctly lined but that was easier then trying to put it over the tensioner (no hand room).
This is why it had to be replaced!
