ECU

I am going to get my ecu flashed and I would like to find some instructions on how to take it out.

I'm going to be doing this soon too and like to know as well. I couldn't find it by searching though I thought most companies could do this by the port on the car.

If you are sending the ECU to LET (recommended), they will send you directions on ECU removal. But if you don't want to wait, here you go:

On the C32 the ECU is located under the hood on the driver's side.
1) Move your wipers to the vertical position before you open the hood.
2) Remove the plastic cover and you will see the fuse box.
3) Open the fuse box and you will see the ECU next to the fender under about a hundred wires.
4) Unplug the two outside plugs, then you will be able to remove the two inner plugs.
5) Now the ECU should slide up and out (assuming the wiper linkage is not in the way - see step 1).

Correct! we send exact exact instructions along with a form for you to fill out so that we can write the correct program for the modifications that you have on the vehicle...

Thanks for the instructions......just waiting on employer to pay my expense
report on Friday! - then I plan to order and remove.
