The Amg mufflers sound good IMHO.

i personally think the AMG mufflers sound good as well. unfortunately for me, some dip shi+ chick rear ended me yesterday and mangled mine. so now is the perfect time for a custom exhaust. I just sent Vadim a PM, asking if he would sell me a set of pipes similar to yours. im sure i could have it done local, but VRP offers alot of support around here, so i would just like to give them my business. i might change the mufflers since im there, not too sure yet.

Strange Dyno Run

Had my car dyno'd on a Dyno Dynamics and the results were strange. The car's rear wheels could not stay on the rollers. We had to cut off the dyno run at only 4443 rpms due to the slippage. Operator refused to do another run since AFR was running as high as 14.9 and feared blowing the motor.

I made an urgent call to Vadim. I think the fuel regulator/boost-a-pump fuse popped again causing the super-lean condition. Looks like I'm going back to the larger injectors also!! I am not a happy camper today!

Here is a video clip of my dyno run today at 2pm along with my dyno chart and data sheet.

The red line was from my old HPS kit and the blue lines are today's run with Kleemann setup. Vadim's dyno had AFR running at 12. What happened today?

Robert, your car sounds especially healthy. Well done.

With all of the technical expertise (and hardware) that Vadim and the consummate professionals at VRP have provided to finally get yours running properly, why are you second guessing yourself with another outfit?

My buddy Linh still does not trust tuners in general. He has rightfully planted a seed in my mind that I got another fake dyno so I had it independently dyno'd. Problem is the AFR was WACKED and Vadim told me it was running 12's and the chart he gave said the same but now I'm running 14.5!!! That's dangerous in my mind. He has'nt called me back yet but I know it's Saturday and his day off but I'm pretty pissed at this moment.

Robert, I called you back a number of times and left you a message.

From what you described to me on voice mail, it is possible that O2 sensor is not reading right, a constant 14.7 reading is an indication of bad O2 sensor.

As far as Dyno Dynamics dyno,

How did they set the load?

From the video I can tell they had a very small fan, they were running it in 4th gear, which goes to over 160 mph. There is not enough air flow for that speed. In addition the car was loose on the dyno, with slipping tires.

Running supercharged cars with high compression on the dyno is a very tricky proposition. With a very little air flow, high temperatures in the shop and 4th gear you could of easliy detonated several cylinders. When I ran your car I put in 100 octane as a safety, I do not tune for it. Remember #5 cylinder was already down 30%.

In addition I data log and monitor numerous parameters to make sure everything is safe. From timing, boost, fuel pressure, charge temperatures and so on.

I wished you called me before you decided to dyno you car. I mentioned it you before.

OK. I panicked. I was seriously worried when I smelled smoke. I will get my cell phone and call you. Your comment about detonation freaks me out.

I really want to show everybody how skilled and talented VRP is but I really need to get an independent dyno to validate the results. How about Evosport? They should know how to dyno my car correctly, do you agree?

A bad o2 can show a default of stoich. was it a constant 14.7? with the cost of these cars, a wideband o2 with an in car display would be cheap insurance. were you present when your car was on the dyno previously? what would make you doubt the sheet that he had given you? if VRP did the work and you want to have a third party back it up, then i would think it only fair to have a rep from VRP present when it was done. just my .02

Thanks for the advice but it was not a constant 14.7. The load for the dyno was set at 2350rpm and when the run started the AFR was 14.6, went up to 14.9 at 2848rpm, then dropped to it's lowest point at 4101rpm to 14.2 and climbed back a little to 14.5 at 4443rpm before it cut-out.

I doubt the O2 sensors went bad since what are the chances both would go bad at the same time? Kinda like a second parachute that also fails when I skydive. I scanned the car with an ODB II after the dyno and got an error code indicating the car was running too lean and 3 more indicating the cats were below threshold on bank 1 and bank 2. I need to call Cory and ask why the O2 sensor error code keeps popping up.

thats very little change in AFR. those ratios would definitely make me nervous. run race gas by any chance? make sure no one gave you leaded by mistake, it will ruin the o2 sensors. anti freeze can play havoc with them as well. any chance you ever popped a head gasket and sent coolant through the exhaust? maybe just try a fresh set of sensors? are they still in the original location? good luck with it. ive been through it with previous cars, total pain in the a$$...

Will post new sound clip and new pics

I will post the same sound clip again because DynoComp already removed them so new sound clip will not be possible. DynoComp fully inspected them and will vouch that they are in perfect condition or else I would not sell them. DynoComp will take pics of this exhaust system and forward to me to post here.

These do NOT include the Kleemann headers, downpipes or race cats. I sold them to a buddy for only $400. I know it was a great deal but he really helped me out alot.

I will guarantee that there is no defect or damage and so will DynoComp before I will ship it. I've got a few emails within minutes of my posting this for sale.

Not necessary, Paypal to your email? My inspection is due in April, so this is just good timing for me. Ill inspect it, then swap the exhaust.
