--- LET C32 Intake Almost Ready ---

Well I can say I usually have an open eye for all C32s and definitely didn't see yours so I recommend staying of the drinks til you have a designated driver cause a "cloud of smoke" must mean you must be drunk...

Agreed!
Anyone that knows I-88 East and I-294 North at 7:00 AM can tell you that there is traffic....lots of traffic.
I was driving the car normal (have 2 kids that travel with me). The reason this is so impressive to me, is the fact that I used to get 16/19 mpg.
The above pic shows me going under 30mph.

caz theres traffic there on 88 and they are taking their sweet time. I went down to york ville the other day. I left at 7am and my avg highway speed was about 100 and on the way back at 11am my avg speed was 120 on the roads and highway. its around 54miles one way. It was seriously empty.

Not on that one Moose, you're thinking of the Edens near Chicago; Thats the exit from EB I-88 going to 355 north. Yes, in the rain its a real ***** if you're trying to scooch over . The ramp goes off to left and opens up real nice for a 125 MPH run.

One real nice stretch is where 294 & 94 come together when you're going north towards WI. On Sunday mornings, there's nobody out there. I ran an 03 Cobra out there and got up to somewhere around 170ish.

Just for sake of conversation, take a look at how capable our cars are...
This is my daily commute, about 23 miles each way. I got 6 straight green lights before jumping on the highway (which is uncommon) but nonetheless, it is possible. Cruise control set at 65 and W mode (it was raining and my tires were bold).
And when you stop, you sort of fool the computer...

MPG issue solved
I solved my fuel mileage, winter driving and high mileage issues by adding this (German Spec) 1991 Nissan 100NX to the stable ..... This 4 banger gets 40 miles to the gallon, came with snow tires, and I payed $700 for it. Of course it does have 107000 something miles on it but runs like a champ. It came complete with a Jagermeister sticker affixed to the hatch. Im saving the C32 for track/ drag purposes only. Gas is $4.69 a gallon (US only) for super over here. Im liking the new LET intake and want to ditch the SL55 boxes, they are too bulky.

Dont mean to change the subject of discussion (LET intake= Awesome) but.....
In the states they were known as NX1600(1.6ltr) and NX2000(2.0ltr) Its pretty funny,....I was reading about the car on another forum because I know nothing about them and people are crazy about these things....turbos, exhaust, suspension.....LOL

Not sure about you guys but I removed my resonator yesterday and did a 100 mile trip today, but got 23.5 on the freeway, vs the 22mpg I could get before. Guess the car was lighter on fuel, but that still seems higher, esp with me revving more to hear how it sounds.
