c55 tranny modes at the track?
ok im hitting the drag strip tommorow for the first time in my 2005 c55 and im curious which mode you guys suggest i put it in for optimal performance, sport, comfort, or manual, or even dyno mode?

Dyno mode. Clear the cache... turn the key to "on" (not start) and hold the gas pedal to the floor for 10 seconds. Turn the key off and release the gas pedal.
For me that scenerio produced 13.1 @ 108MPH

Keep it in S mode avoid the water pit. peal out with tracktion off. get to the line. one foot on brake one on the gas to pre load the drive train. Not to much or trackton will kick in killing your time. mess around in m mode for some fun. If you havnt been to the track you may need a helmet because you are under 14 seconds. shoot some video! BTW sorry if you knew all this other stuff
