How do you get the ecu connectors off. I cant seem to get the first one out even after depressing the clip. Mine has this black plastic all around the clips any ideas?

mine was really tight to get out too. I depressed the clip and at the same time, I used a thin pair of needle nose pliers and gripped on the black plastic the the wires went into. But I was careful not to pull on any wires, just the plastic in the middle. It's tight, but it will come out with the right leverage.

thanks for the tip I got all the connectors out but I cant get the ecu to move?

I Pulled as hard as I can and the thing still wont move there is something holding it down and I cant fiqure out what

I got it out finally I hope I can get it back in because the wiper blade arm is in the way

to late now, but for next time; close the hood completely and then turn on your wipers -as soon as they are pointing upwards turn the car off. Now there wont be anything blocking your ecu from coming out.

I think you can still turn the key to position 2 and activate the wipers.

But yes, sorry, I forgot to mention to make sure you put your wipers in the upright position to move that arm out of the way.
