radio/nav problem

radio/nav problem
got in car today and started like always and nothing from the radio/nav unit just says audio "please wait" in the center display of the gauges. I wait and wait and nothing everything else in car seems to be fine. Anyone have this happen?

my 2005 sometimes when i start it up wont play anything at all, although it looks like there should be sound. and when i push the audio button the cd changer icon is missing. I just shut the car off and start it back up again and the fixs it for me. pain in the ***** though.

This happened to me twice. The first time it happened the dealer just loaded new software into the Comand to fix the problem. The next time it happened (no sound from CD, IPOD or radio) the dealer found a leak in my trunk seal and a shorted out electronic controller of some sort and replace both. Problem fixed to date.

well this morning went to start the car and battery was dead. Charged the battery, tested it and it check out ok. Then started car and command turned right on like nothing happened, I checked the charging system and that checked out fine. Had appointment at the dealer today so I still went and they said they have seen a lot of seat modules go bad and draw on the battery so they checked it out everything ok but put updated software in the command. well I will see what happens now seems to be perfect.
