2002 C32 Black/Charcoal
![Question](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/icons/icon5.gif)
My C32 shift knob is bubbling (the silver part). Apparently this is a pretty common problem. Not interested in replacing with OEM (too much $$ and not really all that attractive to begin with). So, I started looking for a nice aftermarket knob.
I searched threads here, and see that the chrome Schat (sp?) is really nice, but seems pretty pricey. Anyone find anything that works on the C32 that looks nice and won't break the bank? There are a couple carbon fibre knobs on ebay that look okay, but not sure if they will fit properly (search "C32 shift knob")? Any ideas/experiences would be great. In a perfect world, I would probably go for a silver carbon fibre knob with leather on the sides. Anyway, thanks for any info!

Hey Vomit, I've posted in several threads here about my Schatz shift knob. It is carbon fiber and chrome and is very comfortable in the hand.

Post #81 gives an email address for a guy I got mine from. He sold me a display model without a chrome ring, for $47 delivered. Worth every penny.
Good luck. I hope the guy is still in business.

yeah I'm still waiting for whomever it was to make that shift knob that posted a couple months back. I really want one with the AMG logo in the center.
