5th gear will show on the indicator as "D".
Don't you feel the car shift when you nudge the shifter over and the D shows on the screen?
Any gear under 5th shows as a number.

What is the correct gear that i should shift? i always thought that "D" is auto gear.
Gear 1: 0-20 MHP ?
Gear 2: 20-45 MHP ?
Gear 3: 45-80 MHP ?
Gear 4: 80-120 MHP ?
Gear D: 120-170 MHP ?

By the way, the tranny will shift up for you if you forget to do it yourself, as you approach redline. It also downshifts for you as needed, even in "manual". The C32's tranny is never truely "manual". With Speedshift, you just get the option to shift sooner or later than the computer would normally and, with some limitations, pick gears 1-4.
As an example, with the car in D & traveling at about 50 mph, push and hold the shifter to the left for a second or two. You will notice that the car will downshift to the lowest available gear, which will probably be 3rd. The car will hold 3rd until you reach redline and will go to 4th whether you touch the shifter or not.
Also, unless you have a custom ECU tune, your car is electronically limited to 155 mph.
