just bought some cheap wheels
So I just bought some cheap AMG replica wheels for $400 new (all 4). 18x8 and 18x9 same style as the real deals on my C55 but these are black with machined lip. Right now I dont even know if i'm going to put them on my car. I might use the back ones for the drags with some slicks on them. I just thought for $400 it was a good deal i guess. Part of me thinks i wasted $400

I guess the front wheels dont clear the caliper so my friend is swaping me out front rims and i wont have the rims installed, well now it looks like next week so now this thread is totally worthless.

Where did you find the Rep's? Are they the same ones that came on the C55 except non OEM? If i keep my car I have to find out about getting 18's on there.

I have a friend that works at discount tire and i was talking with him about getting some cheap drag rims and he said he could hook me up with them at a "discount" so I payed $400 but we have to send the front rims back as they were a 35 offset and that wont clear the caliper. They look just like the stockers i got now but the are black with machined lip. We put the back ones on and they fit great. Honestly they looked killer on the car. the weight is one lbs lighter than stock. I plan on getting a killer set of rims soon but for $400 i thought it was a good deal. Now i have to wait until next week to get the new front rims.
