WANT TO PURCHASE A FULL RENNTECH C32

Hey everyone, I'm new here. I have been searching for a clean low miles car (under 50k) for quit some time and have no luck. I called Renntech today and they said they have not worked on the C32's for some time and even if I get a stock one and send it to them its not guaranteed they can get me the full pkg.

Anyone hear from word of mouth one around? I found a Kleeman on ebay but no renntech, Ideally I want a full Renntech car that has ever option including full engine upgrades (ECU, PULLYS, Everything) Renntech wheels, suspention, valentino one, everything. If not I'm willing to purchase one with the full engine mods and get the wheels myself later. Is stage II the best? or is there a stage III or IV?

If you guys have any ideas or can point me in the right direction that would be great. If i want to stick with ReNNtech is stage II the fastest? or do they have better?

I have Renntech stuff on my C55, so my question is Why Only renntech? You should maybe get a full on LETmotorsports C32, that seems to be what they do best, I mean alot of C32 owners here have LET tuned C32 that are bad A$$. there are alot of other options then renntech and Kleemann. visit www.letmotorsports.com Renntech these days seems to only do high-end mercedes. You can just piece it together with renntech stuff. C32 guys will chime in im sure and get you off the renntech vibe for a C32. All i know from being a C55 driver is that Let motorsports is the way to go for the C32.

im open to be honest, renntech is in my head bcus my friend had one I'm not sure what stage it was I just remember it was one fo the fastest cars I sat it and it took m3s, and supercharged g35's no problem. The other thing is I don't want to buy the car a slowly mod it out I want it all done and from my research it is obviously gonna cost more then 10k in mods so where can I find one in the US?

http://phoenix.craigslist.org/wvl/car/774649844.html Heres one in Arizona is which is still only stage 1

Or http://sfbay.craigslist.org/sfc/ctd/822209710.html I can trying to get the price down on this one and send it to renntech which will obviously cost and arm and a leg and would have to pay cash instead of finding one and going to the bank and getting a loan

I have a renntech c55 here in Arizona and a friend/member of this site calimax has a renntech C32 and both of ours are very fast so renntech does make good stuff. I too was a huge fan of Renntech, Kleemann, and Bradus, before i jumped on this forum. Dont get me wrong I still am a huge fan of all of them, But this site opened my eyes to other venders like Evosport, LETmotorsports, VRPtuning and code3performance. all of these have killer stuff for the C32. All there C32's for the most part are running in the 12's Trust me as an AMG owner and hanging and chatting with C32 owners open your mind up a bit you wont be disappointed. C32 with a Leading Edge technologies (LET) ECU tune along with a pulley kit, heat exchanger, and a SL55 intake , and that C32 will smoke just about anything. Not to mention I had a 2002 S500 with GPS and that NAV system in 2002 Mercedes sucks it cant find its way out of your driveway.

To my knowledge, Renntech only ever offered "Stage I" for the C32 as far as engine upgrades go - which comprised of a 178mm Renntech crank pulley and a proprietary ECU tune. They also did suspension/wheels/brakes/styling stuff - and yeah, you're probably talking at least $10k if you try to do all of that. Renntech or Kleemann are good if you're looking for well known tuners who may carry some additional resale value to an average buyer.

IMHO, you can do much better with much less money. I give a hearty +2 on visiting LET Motorsports (www.letmotorsports.com) and/or talking to Erick or Jerry directly. Other options that are well received (and forum sponsors) are Code3, evosport, and VRP - I haven't had the pleasure of dealing with them directly, however.

Any way you go, I'm sure they'll get you squared away

For a lot less then the renntech setup you could go with the LET package like my car and be much faster....

listen to this guy^^^ With a decked out LET setup on a C32 you will have a nuclear bomb under the hood that will blow the doors off of more cars then not. Look at loungn14's setup and do that. Not to mention that LET is going to me making a twin turbo setup for the C32, No one else is doing that.

sending it out? A good shop can install all of my mods in a couple of days.

I would rather get a virgin car and do the mods (or get one from someone you know) then buy a highly modded car....but thats just me...

Just call Jerry at LET; He too was once a big Renntech fan until he saw the light!! Now, I believe that he and Loungin have the fastest running C32s int eh country at this point. I think that Jerry's car will go into the 11s in October if weather and traction are right!!

While I don't know who he's referring to specifically, he's not talking about his former ride... IIRC, Jerry's was a 2002 MY, with over 100k on the clock...

You know what the great thing about this thread is. This guy went for a ride in a friends C32 AMG and now wants one. That my friends is how an AMG fan is born. Really once you feel the insanity of an AMG its AMG for life. I have so say and i speak for most other members on this board... I hope you get one and make it the baddest car you have ever owned. Members here, including me, like to follow the build process of other members cars. IF you build your own there is a feeling of reward in that.
1. you get to know alot about your car and parts you or a shop is putting on and what it does to your car.
2. It will make you sound like you know what your talking about when some one asks you about your car.
3.when building your own C32 your not buying someones used C32 along with their used aftermarket parts.

C32 owners on this board are very knowledgeable about their cars and would not recommended a product to you that wasn't good. With that being said. If the C32 guys are saying to go with LETmotorsports or Code3performance than that's the way to go. These C32 owners on this board have put products from these vendors to the test with exceptional results. It just seems one after an other nothing but happy customers.
