C55 dealer tires.
Hello. I just purchased a beautiful 2006 C55 AMG. The car is a joy to drive. The dealer mentioned that he put new tires on the car, but haven't looked at them till now.
The rear tires are the ContiSportContact 2 245/35ZR18 92Y. ($223.49 online)
The front tires are the Sumitomo HTR Z III 225/40ZR18 92Y. ($111.00 online)
What makes me uncomfortable with this setup is that when I went to tirerack.com, the ContiSportContact 2 front tires with same specifications is selling for $185.00.
I was wondering if I could get some feedback as to whether I should change the front tires to the ContiSportContact 2. Driving wise, I have no complaints, but I want to get the best performance out of my car. Thanks.

255 35/18 on the back side. it doesnt bother me running mixed brand front to rear. you will soon find out that C55s EAT rear tires. im not talking about spirited, smoke the tires driving either. i kill a set of Toyos on the back in less than 15000 miles, just driving back and forth to work.
