Buying Used- warning signs
I never got to have more than about a month with my c55 when i had it new, so in contemplating a used one, i have been thinking about what to look for in the way of finding a 'good' one. i have read about some owners' accounts of 'rock solid' dependability and relatively minor events like seat heaters.
if you found one that appeared to be clean in all the of the usual ways (on schedule maintenance, accident free, not cosmetically hammered) but found out it had had a lot of warranty work of a serious nature along the way (e.g. head gaskets replaced, not cupholders), what would you think of that buy?
i'd appreciate any opinions out there. thanks in advance.

Even if they drove the car hard but took care of the maintance I would think it is fine. These AMG's were made to be driven hard as long as you take care of them. Changing the fluids etc is the key to the longevity of the car. I would find out of the things that have been replaced if they are common things that go on other C55's. If they are then just think your issues have been addressed already. If the things that are being replaced are not common problems then you may want to look for another.
