Hey guys!
I'm now back in Lao after a few weeks with the car, during this time I drove about 2500km and thought I'd give you an update.
Like I have said from the start when I picked the car up, there are still some work to be done so see this update as a "work in progress".
Goal from start was 6-800hp: At the moment we are running about 550hp and 600Nm, but the CIVINCO PB will be properly tuned during the winter now. At the moment we are running the fuel rich on purpose and there are also some other things that will be fixed for next year. We anticipate 600hp without problems for next season! Nm? No idea, but with the 600Nm in the car now, it moves! Fast!
Problems to solve?
- ESP goes into "safe mode" when accelerating "softly" from around 2000rpm. All this does is that the throttle don't respond on fast accelerating, but you can still keep the speed and drive. Solution? All I need to do is stop the car, turn off the ignition and start the car again. So not a major problem, just a very annoying one that hopefully can be solved.
- A crack in the air tube going from the SC. The pressure is just to much, so need to make a new tube in stronger material. Overall I can say that the air pressure is A LOT bigger than anticipated!
And that my friends are it, so only this to work on for next season.
One sad and extremely annoying thing is that on one of my last nights home, I had some scumbag breaking my fuel lid and fuel cap, and thereby causing damage to the new, 10 000$, paintwork. It's just small damages, but since the paint is such a special one, the whole side of the car have to be repainted to mitigate against any color difference on the side. And a new fuel lid and cap of course. Thank god for good insurance! Absolutely no problems at all from my insurance company when I called them!
Thanks guys!

Would it really be any interest to see this!?
I'm waiting for some movies filmed inside the car when driving, so that you guys can hear the SC from the inside as well. But like I said, I'm still waiting for them.

I'm definitely still interested. There are a lot of things that have been done on your car that have not been done on another C32. I'd like to see some results from the track.
I'm glad to hear that the insurance is covering the damage to your car. I don't understand why someone would even try to do that.

Just minimal damage to the car, that still means the whole side have to be repainted.

Thanks! Yes and at the moment we are running 550Hp and 600Nm, the engine will be taken out and have a overhaul during the winter and then CIVINCO will be tuning the PB system 100% for next season.
We are very confidant we will reach the goal of minimum 600Hp for next season.

I'll see if I can email the guy on CIVINCO and ask him...Like I said before, I do know that it's been a real headache to get it all to work, and it was not completely done when I picked the car up in August...This is why we are saying that the goal of 600Hp will be reached for next season...
Even if I can't answer some of the questions you guys might have, I'll try to find out for you. You guys have been great on this forum, so anything I can do, just ask!
Cheers guys!

Any updates? I found a link to the Civinco management system on google. Link: http://www.civinco.com/index_eng.html Looks like an all encompassing system that can work stand alone or in series with the stock computer, but it wouldn't work for us in the u.s. because it does not allow for emissions testing.

I find it strange what your saying about not being able to work for you in the US, as I know that CIVINCO are big in the VIPER tuning community over there. I'll get back to you!!

Have not forgotten your questions, I did mail the guy on CIVINCO, and he just mailed me back. He will hopefully come back with answers directly here in my thread.
He's a totally great guy with loads of knowledge, so any questions you guys have, fire away!
Thanks guys!
