Having experienced the devastation of Ike firsthand at the Houston location, LET will be shifting its entire operations to the Chicagoland area.

Unfortunately, this move means LET will be losing one of its founders, Erick Gunter. His invaluable contribution to this company and the modding community-at-large will be missed, as he focuses on his family and current employment.

As part of this transition, we must temporarily suspend hardware sales until all stock can be assessed and shipping operations relocated. This in no way affects software/tuning sales, which are already located in Chicago.

Another benefit of this move will be the addition of Wayne S. (ChicagoX) to the company, bringing his years of tuning experience to the table. Having started and operated a tuning company in the past, he was a natural choice for the team. He has been helping us over the past few weeks and this move wouldn't be possible without his help.

We sincerely apologize for any delays in communication or shipping due to this transition.

Our new shipping info and toll-free numbers will be up shortly; please check this thread or our website at www.letmotorsports.com for these updates.

Sincerely,

Jerry Thornton

Good to see you will be closer to New York. I admire your company's drive and more important your price point.

Too long have tuners tried to charge a "benz tax" for performance parts and your company is a breath of fresh air. I hope you get into the full benz market.

Good luck with the move. PM sent.

As of now, we will not be selling hardware any longer. We will be working with other companies to help bring you good products.

Wow.

This is a loss for the marque.

I thought this was just supposed to be a short break to get set up in Chicago. What gives?

+1

Wow indeed... I hope there's good news out of this in the near future, but for now I'm not sure how it couldn't be viewed as a negative for us C32 owners

As a proud owner of a LET Stage II car, I'm grateful to have gotten the parts when I did - didn't realize they'd wind up being collector's items

I understand there won't any R &D on any new hardware. I hope you will find away to continue to offer products already in production.

Well me and c55asleep? Were talking a few weeks ago about getting some parts before you guys announced Erick was no longer on board. All I wanted were headers the 185mm set for a stock c32 and a tune. This sucks royally since I have been waiting only because my MR2 needed to get rolling again. And now that it is I can't even get the parts I originally wanted. I stuck with one company thinking idealistically that a combined setup would yeild maximum performance which is why I've taken precautions and purchased your heat exchanger with the cm30 pump in hopes of purchasing the pulley, headed, tune combination in the future.......

So is LET only going to be doing tunes from here on out? Are they still going to have parts coming out? Hay maybe C3P will stat hammering out some parts for out cars. Whatever LET does I wish them the best no matter what road they choose.

Look to Code3Performance to serve ALL of your hardware needs and LET for the software/tuning.

Stay tuned for some awesome hardware to be released from C3P.

Give me a little bit of time guys. Let me see what I can work out.

Having a hybrid car with LET / Code3 / ? parts isn't a bad thing. The only parts on my car that were from LET was the HE, Pulley, Headers, and tuning. The exhaust, rims, heads, cams, cats, wires, plugs, etc came from elsewhere.

1. HE and Johnson Pump

2. ZEX System???

3. new idler pulley with better wrap around???

Someone get me out of this funk.................................

Most Business moves are done with wise reasons behind them, and I hope all of LET's are done with its best intentions in mind for its customers and for its self. Good luck to the LET Team! And since you guys are working with software in mind, PLEASE FIX THE TCU!!! I am sick if the RPM jerking, the dealer tried to upgrade the software to 03+, and the problem came back after a few months. Developing new software like the one used in the C63 would be a HUGE improvement to our cars!

Thanks but unless code3 plans on releasing headers, 185mm crank pulley set and tuning I'm not really interested since I'm in the market for mentioned products.

And what about warranties with LET for headers, wires etc, etc. I hate to say it but, when I purchased items from LET I thought they were a legit tuner who would be around more than a year. Look at my sig, I had major faith and confidence in these guys. Its the end of an era, but I wish it wasnt. I guess C3P's stock is rising.

I believe you are upset for other reasons. LET is a legit tuner and we are really trying to do the right thing. Trust me, my wallet is hurting because I wanted to honor warranty items, pay off vendors, etc. It would have been 200 times easier to close LET's doors and start our own, new company. Did I do that? No, I forked out thousands of dollars and have spent countless hours on the phone making sure the right thing was being done.

We decided to not carry hardware for other reasons, and hopefully I can tell you why soon.

Ask anyone who has met me in person and spent any time with me. I will not shaft you, nor will I let any of my business partners shaft you.

LET will continue to be in business for many years to come.

Im cranky cause of the parts flow. Im not upset for any other reason. Im my head looking parts now. I might throw up a flying pig also. Plus I was saving up for a 185 mm pully. No worries, I still love you guys

I've never met Jerry in person, but without Erick, LET's pure sexyness drops at LEAST 80%.

I've never met either one of them, or Wayne for that matter. But, to say a blanket statement like that, well, it seems unfair. From most of the postings these guys have done, they seemed to make a great team. Jerry and Erick are both geniuses with the C32.

I'd say you could discount the sexyness by 50% but then you have to add back in the X-factor (or ChicagoX-factor) of Wayne. For now, ????

Jerry seems to have a plan for the company that he is forshadowing in some of his posts. I am beginning to believe we need to back off and let LET do its thing. He just promised to keep some pullies so, there may be more.

Remember, not much more than a year ago we did not have anything like LET or CP3 or any of the new small sponsors on this forum. We have been blessed to have had them to this point. Let's keep supporting them all as they struggle through growning pains, ownership changes and development.

Jerry, like the old beer commercial said, "love ya, man".
