2002 SLK 32 AMG
when to replace timing chain??

hey guys i have an 02 32 amg and have about 90000 miles on it. when should i change the timing chain? or how many miles?? thanks

Do not worry about it. Chain is rated for 150K miles and cars will easily go over 200K without any problems.

agreed- engines that have a timing belt need to be changed. however- chains are usually good for the life of the engine.

a car that can't do the throttle reset.

Yeah, really thanks for sharing. I've had a previous experience years ago with my old Porsche 924's timing belt crapping out on second gear. . I lucked out no damage to engine. I said never again, so thanks for the advice.
