Oil Change Howto?
Hey guys,
I had 2 local companys change my oil (not a dealer, dealer is 1hour away). Turning the car on to check the oil level indicated it was fine both times, they put in 8.5qrts I believe. Once in a while when the car is warmed up, I'll get a message indicating to reduce engine oil. When I start the car in dyno mode, it indicates 8.3qrts.
I'd like to have the oil changed again, correctly, with the correct oil based on everyones responses.
Could someone give a howto on the correct way to change the oil? From what I read in other posts there are two drain plugs, could someone post the locations? What are your cars reading in dyno mode? More information the better. Basically I'd like to just give them a sheet telling them how to do it so there is NO confusion.

it depends how they changed the oil... did they vacuum pump it out or drained it with the oil plug...
even if they put the 8.5qt as required there is still some left over...
their could also be water in the oil... but thats very unlikely

They used the drain plug both places. Definitely not water in the oil.
Couldn't find the info in the sticky. Only found posts on the wrench size, and reading the dipstick (that the car doesnt come with)
