New car ideas......

Well I got my well deserved promotion at work. I have been thinking about a new car for awhile and now I need some ideas. I do not need room for more then two people as we have SUV's and other cars for that.
Looking to stay under or around 90K <---- This number wife seems to think is reasonable. If I discuss things at 100 or north I get funny looks from her.
I may sell the C55 which could be added to the total above or use the money to mod what ever the above buys me. Other option is to retire her to the garage as another favorite for weekends and occasional drives.
Looking for ideas and it does not have to be MB....

90K as in dollars? If so Nissan GT-R all the way. I do know of a brand new CLS63 in the MB showroom that they will let go for 80K (got some inside info from the sales manager ar Arrowhead MB in AZ) All in all The GT-R is where i would go but thats just me. There are a world of cars available for that price

I've had my eye on a Maserati Gransport for awhile, the resale values on exotics has been dropping like crazy as the dollar-euro conversion evens out and people have no money for a 2nd/3rd car. Although it probably would become my daily driver and I'm not sure if you are keeping the C55.
But with 90k, you might be able to sneak into a Lamborghini Gallardo. 04's are around 105-110k, but given the current situation, some sellers might give into like 95k.

2002 C32 AMG
I just got back to the house, but while I was out I saw two of the new M3's, one black one white. The white one had a folding hardtop (if you're into convertibles). Damn were they nice.

Hmmm new Z06.... I had one in 2002 it was fun but the interiors leave much to be desired.
Lamborghini Gallardo - I wonder what the costs in terms of maintenance would be? This would be a fun car....
GTR - Not really into the Japanese cars very much. I also find this car to touch on the heart strings of style at all. No offense to current owners, nice car just not for me.
CLK62 black series......... Now that would be a fun one..... I have not seen one in the price range...
Keep the ideas coming...
I would like to be able to drive it as a daily driver if I so choose. So I am not sure if newer lambos and ferraris can do this.

But coming from a C55, you are probably aware of how nice it is to have a car that is really rare. The GT-R is pretty ugly and I agree with you. It's a great track style car, but most of the reviews say it is not that good of a daily car. Plus the maintenance costs are insane ($4k for the 20" run flats, $3.5k for pads/rotors, ~$2k engine/trans/diff/brake oil/fluid changes every 2k-10k miles depending on driving habits, etc.).

03 g35 coupe...........02 c32 Sold
lol if you think those maintence costs are insane, think how high a lambo would be.
i say clk black series. I think the m5 is too subtle for that kind of price, have the clk black series as your aggressive sports car and keep the c55 as your subtle luxury car.

Sell the C55 for as much as you can get out of it, combine that money with your $90K budget, then plop it all down on this $100K Maserati. Problem solved, and you're welcome. ![Stick Out Tongue](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/tongue.gif)
