Hello all,
Was at a Euromotorcars dealer today for replacing failed air injection pump under warranty. They had a "special" where you could prepay for a number of services and get a coupon book for the following below. They called it the "Preferred Customer" program.
It gives you:
- One Free Flex Service A
- One Free 4 Wheel Alignment
- One Free Full Vehicle Detail
- Two Free Paintless Dent Removals
- $500 off new or preowned vehicles
10% discount on parts & service
10% discount on MB extended warranty
Some other discounts...
It has an expiration for all of these one year out.
It cost $397 for the booklet (includes taxes)... and since I am due for new tires (so an alignment), and Service A... and I figured that is roughly what it would cost anyway outright. Anyone else try this? At my dealership I got booklet #165, so I guess others are getting lured in too. I didn't have the heart to tell the sales guy that technically these weren't "Free" as the booklet states... since my AMEX would now state otherwise.
I could use a detail, and I have one door ding (only I notice)... so maybe those will finally get done.

Thanks moosejaw,
Could never get this place to go lower on the A Service (always about $300 or so), so I guess a wash. At least it doesn't seem to be a rip off. If I didn't have both an alignment due for the new tires, and a Service A, I would've skipped out on this. It was one of those "well, I'll be paying about $100 for the alignment in the next few days, might as well buy the package". So I guess it worked out for them...

MBWorld Fanatic!
Why would you think you need an alignment just because you are getting new tires.
I have been through 4 sets of tires and have never had an alignment. Unless you are running into curbs and massive potholes I would say you should never need an alignment unless your tires are wearing unevenly.
