Power drain. Power seat module?

Power drain. Power seat module?
Well, the battery didn't do it. The battery is getting drained over 24-48 hours. Is there a way to diagnose? I've pulled the driver side seat module fuse (#27) but have no idea if that will help.

you can try disconnecting the front harness on the seat control module directly under the seat. That'll deactivate the module. 9/10 its a bad module...those things are POS.
I think the other issue maybe the alternator, but i doubt it.

I see three plugs in the front of the seat. Which one do I pull? Is there any way to tell if it IS this module, and if so, which seat? Should I pull both seats just to be sure?

if your sitting on the passenager seat and you reach directly under the seat there should be one harness that has two wires connected to it..one thats brown and one thats brown/red...disconnect that one.
Uhmm only real way to test it would probably using a volt meter unless you want to recharge your battery and disconnect one and see if it drains it over night.
you can recharge the battery and disconnect the driver and passenager side harness. If ther battery doesn't drain then you at least know its the seat control modules.
If it is...i listed a $20 fix on my sig...if you use it read up to my pg 2 update as well.

had this prob last month
The drain finished off my older battery. Mine seemed to be the passenger side. Upon much research and schematics and other posts the problem seems to be that one of the chips in the module wont let the system go to sleep and continues to draw power. Unplugging the power jack or the wide plug next to it will let the system go to sleep. Mr X's fix will work nicely till you can replace the module. Unplug one side at a time to find the problem module.
