Black smoke/no power - got only p0120 code
My car got a CEL and the engine shuts down when I step on the accelerator. The idle is also erratic. I started the car the next day and black smoke started coming out of the exhaust and a bit under the hood (O2 sensor?), but when I used an OBDII scanner the only code that showed up was p0120. Anyone experience this problem. Read in other posts that it could be the TPS or the Throttle Actuator. Does anyone have a part number for the gas pedal which I hear includes the TPS? Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

No idea on the code, but black smoke means either unburnt fuel due to an ignition failure or something is telling the injectors to stay open too long. Neither one should produce smoke in the engine bay though.
