MB noobie... Lookn at buying this C32, what do u think?

Hey guys, Im new to the forum. I dont know a whole lot about the C32, but I was going to see what you guys thought about this one.

http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.js...1&rdpage=thumb

Is it a good deal? Or should i look for a stock one and do the mods myself? How much does his kleeman kit cost? Ive talked to him and he said hes got the sc pulley, green filters, and he sent off the ecu to be tuned...

Thanks guys!

03 g35 coupe...........02 c32 Sold
looks like a ok deal to me, since there already a decent amount of mods. You should ask him if the radiator, intercooler pump and seat control modules have been replaced. Those are the three common problems with c32's of that yr.

I would also check the radiator resevioir and see if the fluid is clear or if its green. I could've swore my resevior tank was clear or more yellowish then the green color in the picture. Mercedes Benz anti freeze is clear not green by the way. If its green then he might be using some third party fluid, when your suppose to use the OEM stuff since MB fluid has extra addiatives that prevent corrison.

Oh yeah, the hp numbers he's stating are to the crank not to the wheels by the way.

Given the current car climate, you can probably a slightly better deal. But still priced reasonably well.

High on the price considering you can get an E55 in the high 20 range right about now. What kind of pulley kit, the SC pulley or crank pulley??? I am assuming the Kleeman crank pulley. Check ALL the pulleys before you buy too. Fix is not that hard and can save some time and expense in future.

I think he said it has the sc pulley...

He is the second owner, and bought it with 30,000 miles on it. So the kleeman kit hasnt been on the car very long.

Kleeman never did an SC pulley, so that's why I asked. It clearly says "comfort power" on the rear and that's the sign of Kleemann.

Hey Newz:

Please show me 1 E55 not wrecked/totaled/flooded, etc, other than Manhiem which us normals can't go to anyway, as I will buy it my friend. I have been looking for awhile now, and besides a few 03's with HIGH milage, you ain't touchin one for under 35K. Nice/clean/low mileage are around 38K+.

Actually I REALLY hope that I am wrong my friend, as I REALLY want one.

See yeah

PS: PM one if you find it please

NO, but minus the Intercooler, which you REALLY don't need at this level, and then YES you could.

Save the IC for a replacement if yours ever leaks, or SERIOUS race/tracker my friend. If you don't beleive me, check out Vadium/VRP who already tried it. Not much of a gain for a stock or stage 1 car.

See yeah

PS: The exhasut isn't going to help that much, except make more noise, you decide on this one.

If you know a dealer, YOU can get em at Manheim for that, Just ask Jerry or Wayne (ChicagoX), they know "people," The prices of higher end cars, E55s and E63 are dropping faster than the economy right now. Check out the 211 forums, there's a gorgeous one for about 35 that the guy will take offers on as well from Calif.

I would go with pulley from code3 , intake from let or code3 or do both lol , ecu of course LET, and headers i believe vrp makes those..

and yes exhaust wont really do nothing but I was just throwing that out there and if u want it a lil louder then just do a resanator delete.

Hey Newz:

YES I can get in the auto auctions/Manhiem no problem. Have you read the W211 section concerning auction cars my friend? There are addtional charges OVER the simple selling price, and of course you CAN NOT get a history of the car PRIOR to bidding. Something that on one of these babies I would NEVER do. Most are rejected lemon cars that MB dealers won't touch.
My point IS/WAS you are not getting a GOOD/CLEAN/HISTORY FREE/LOW MILAGE W211 for under 35k Thats all, no war here just a little realiality check.

Thanks for the advice, and Yeah Jerry has already helped me out on another car GREAT guys at LET

See yeah

Depends on what your trying to do...

If you are being cost effective then go with a code3 sc pully, sc intake

If you are going for all out power go LET 185 crank pully and LET intake (or simular intake)

LET tune is the only way to go....

+1. although you will need a TUNE after the Code III install

If you are going for all out power go LET 185 crank pully and LET intake (or simular intake)

+1, although you'll need new plugs, may have fuel issues and cant run 89 oct and can't do the pulley wrap

LET tune is the only way to go....

O....

Whats the difference in performance with the LET crank pulley and the Code3 sc pulley? Do they both increase the boost? Sry for the noob questions...

Can you do a sc pulley and a crank pulley?

What plugs do you need if im going to run the LET setup?

Weres the best place to get the LET pulley, ecu and intake?

Thanks again

I'm thinking the price is a little on the high side too.
